For me, the mother of all values is truth. Truth is what will allow us to create positively and move forward. Its opposite, falsehood will bring us nowhere. That is why I would like to share here my favorite quotation on truth:
"If you seek truth, you shall not seek it by every and any possible means. And if you have found it, you need not fear being defeated."
I did not know who Epictetus was but a walking encyclopedia of a friend gave this to me knowing that I was looking for a nice quotation about truth. And I agree strongly with this statement.
