Food Trip Club

This idea came to me while eating at a newly opened restaurant known for its roast pork specialty, Cebuano style. The food was really good and the ambiance of the place was elegantly austere but efficient. No wonder it was packed with people and I just thought that many more people should know about the place.

And something sparked in my mind that may or may not become a business:

If there are enough people in our community who appreciate good food and would be willing to spend a certain amount to have a good meal, maybe it is possible to create an informal group that can go on food trips from time to time.

To make this exercise more "educational" a visit to a food manufacturing/processing company can be thrown in so that participants can also have an idea how some  foods they are eating are made.

Food tripping can be a way to keep our local food traditions and culture alive.
